Marketa’s Journey was formed to honor her young life. We’re doing that in 3 ways.
Scholarships
Award scholarships to women of diverse backgrounds entering STEM fields.
Nature
Promote the importance of nature and its conservation.
Awareness
Raise awareness of COVID’s effects on the hearts of young adults.
Marketa’s family founded Marketa’s Journey in April 2021, and we were formally incorporated as a 501(c)3 non-profit in January 2023. In that short time, we’ve had an amazing impact on the community.
Meet Marketa
Marketa was passionate about the environment and believed everyone should experience the outdoors. And as an engineering student, she advocated for underrepresented women in STEM fields.
